About these terms
This website is operated by Bridge Career Consulting, a career consulting practice based in Athens, Greece, run by Manousos Vasilakis (Certified Career Consultant) and George Mantzanas (Career Coach). Contact: manousosvasilakisdesign@gmail.com.
By browsing this website you accept these terms. Where we work together, these terms apply alongside the written proposal or session agreement we send you. If the two conflict, the proposal wins.
Our services
We provide career orientation and consulting, career assessment and interpretation, CV, LinkedIn and personal-branding consulting, interview preparation, and negotiation and conflict coaching. Content on this website, including any indicative pricing or timelines, is not a binding offer. A contract is formed only when we send a written proposal and you accept it.
Our services are professional consulting and coaching. They are not psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, medical advice, legal advice or employment law representation, and they are not a substitute for any of those.
No guarantee of employment
We work to improve your clarity, your materials and your performance in selection processes. We cannot and do not guarantee a job offer, an interview, a promotion, a salary increase, admission to a programme, or any particular outcome. Hiring decisions are made by third parties on criteria outside our control.
Assessments and their limits
- Assessment instruments are decision-support tools, not verdicts. Results describe tendencies and preferences, not ability, worth or destiny.
- Results are always interpreted by a consultant in conversation with you, and are only valid in the context of that debrief.
- You confirm that the answers you give during assessment are your own and honest. Results based on inaccurate answers cannot be relied upon.
- Assessment reports are provided for your personal use. You should not present them to third parties as a clinical, diagnostic or psychometric certification.
Your responsibilities
You confirm that the information, documents and history you give us are accurate, and that you hold the rights to any material you share. You remain responsible for the content of any CV, profile or application you submit, and for decisions you take about your career. Progress depends on your own follow-through between sessions.
Sessions, scheduling and cancellations
- Sessions take place in person in Athens or online, as agreed when booking.
- The initial 30-minute intake call is free and carries no obligation.
- Please reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. Sessions cancelled with less notice, or missed, may be charged in full.
- If we need to reschedule, you are offered a new slot at the earliest mutual convenience or a refund of that session.
- Prepaid packages are valid for 12 months from purchase unless the proposal says otherwise.
Fees and payment
- Fees are agreed in writing before work begins, per session or per package.
- Sessions and packages are payable in advance unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Prices include or exclude VAT as stated in the proposal, and exclude any bank or transfer fees.
- Late payment may accrue statutory interest under Greek law, and we may pause an engagement until the account is settled.
Confidentiality
Everything you share in an engagement is confidential and is used only to deliver the work, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may break confidentiality only where the law requires it, or where there is a serious and immediate risk to your safety or the safety of another person. This obligation continues after the engagement ends.
You agree in turn to keep confidential any proprietary materials, frameworks or templates we share with you.
Intellectual property
Our frameworks, worksheets, templates, reports and written guidance are licensed to you for your own personal use. You may not resell, publish or distribute them, or use them to deliver consulting or coaching services to others, without our written permission.
Third-party assessment instruments remain the property of their publishers and are governed by their own licences. Everything on this website, including text, layout, images and the Bridge Career Consulting name and logo, belongs to us or to our licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.
Liability
We deliver our services with professional care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees you paid us for that engagement, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as lost earnings, lost opportunities or the consequences of a career decision you take.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Greek or EU law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Consumer right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU contracting with us at a distance, you have the right to withdraw within 14 days without giving a reason, under Directive 2011/83/EU as implemented in Greek law. To do so, tell us in a clear statement at manousosvasilakisdesign@gmail.com before the period ends.
If you ask us to begin sessions during the withdrawal period, you will pay a proportionate amount for what has been delivered up to the moment you withdraw. The right of withdrawal ends once the service has been fully performed with your prior express consent and acknowledgement that you lose that right.
Termination
Either side may end an engagement in writing at any time. You pay for sessions already delivered and for third-party costs already committed, such as assessment licences. We may end an engagement where the working relationship has broken down or where your needs fall outside our competence, and in that case we refund any prepaid sessions not yet delivered.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Greek law, and the courts of Athens, Greece have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live and may bring proceedings there.
Consumers in the EU can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We would rather resolve anything directly first, and usually can.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services or in the law. The version published here when your proposal is accepted is the version that applies to that engagement.
